Phase Ib study (2011)
In 2011, the Phase IB Alternatives Analysis Study was conducted to document existing and future deficiencies within the north I-25 corridor and to evaluate and refine possible alternatives to address the identified needs.
supplemental Phase Ib study (2016)
In 2016, the Supplemental Phase IB Study was updated to reflect the Mid Region Council of Governments' (MRCOG's) 2040 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) as well as completed projects. A Preferred Alternative was selected in this study.
PREVIOUS PUBLIC MEETINGS
I-25 IMPROVED PUBLIC MEETING (2021)
The public was invited to participate in public meetings held Aug. 11, 2021, (online) and Aug. 12, 2021, (in-person) to discuss proposed improvements to the I-25 Improved project, transportation needs in the area, the preferred alternative and the project’s process and schedule.
A recording of the online meeting and the Public Meeting presentation are posted below. The same information was presented at both meetings.
OFFICE OF NEIGHBORHOOD COORDINATION LUNCH & lEARN (2022)
The City of Albuquerque's Office of Neighborhood Coordination (ONC) hosted a virtual Lunch and Learn with the I-25 Improved Project Team on Jan. 27, 2022. The project team discussed proposed improvements and potential impacts to the surrounding neighborhoods. A recording of the online meeting and presentation are posted below.
